Topic Description
One out of four students is bullied according to national statistics from anti-bullying groups. Almost half of these students are bullied on line, it's called cyber-bullying and it has some students afraid to even log on. Interestingly enough, students often don't see their behavior as actual bullying.

This drive in workshop is designed to empower and equip school counselors with skills and tools designed to minimize or eradicate child bullying and school violence.
Participants will learn:

• The latest research on child bullying and school violence.
• The causes of youth aggression and misbehavior.
• The characteristics of bullies and their victims.
• The psychology of bullying.
• Potential outcomes of bullying.
• How to empower victims of bullying.
• Bullying and school violence prevention strategies.
